Web Applications Company Helps Drive Energy Efficiency Behavioral Changes Among Utility Customers
Feb. 11, 2009 - Apogee Interactive has named James E. Malcom chief financial officer of the Atlanta-based company that develops energy efficiency and customer self service Web applications for energy companies nationwide.
Malcom comes to Apogee with more than 20 years in corporate finance and accounting, which began with the firms KPMG and Ernst & Young in Atlanta. His career steadily expanded to include senior posts as chief financial officer, corporate controller, vice president and treasurer for such area companies as Heidelberg USA, LecStar Telecom and Powertel.

Malcom will provide oversight for all financial operations of the company and work with other members of the management team to provide strategic direction for Apogee. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration, and a certified public accountant licensed in Georgia.
